The requirements for a cryogenic label

A label which is used for cryogenic purposes is very special and it differs from a standard label or a deep freeze label for that matter; a label which is used on equipment or medical products that have to withstand temperatures of liquid nitrogen which is minus 196 o C to -210 o C.

Cryogenic labels require an adhesive that maintains strong adhesion at extreme low temperatures; a base film material that will not crack or chip; and printing that does not fade or wash off. We naturally can supply these printed to your requirements or they can also be supplied plain, and you can specify rolls or sheets.

Naturally we can supply labels for deep freeze purposes and these differ from a cryogenic label by virtue of the fact that they are intended for use in standard or commercial deep freeze units and are intended to withstand temperatures of minus 20C to minus 40C. The adhesive will perform excellently and will even adhere to surfaces that are already at deep freeze temperatures, with good adhesion to a wide variety of materials at up to minus 40C.
